Welcome to NPLINKUP ("we," "us," or "our"), an AI-powered matchmaking platform for Nigerian diaspora professionals worldwide. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of nplinkup.com, our mobile applications, and all related services (the "Platform").
By registering an account, swiping on profiles, or using our MatchIQ™ features, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
To use NPLINKUP you must: be at least 18 years of age; have legal capacity to enter a binding contract; not be prohibited from receiving services under applicable law; and not have been previously banned from NPLINKUP.
NPLINKUP is built for the Nigerian diaspora community ? Nigerians and people of Nigerian heritage living outside Nigeria, as well as those who appreciate Nigerian culture. Membership is open to all adults who respect this community.
When registering you agree to: provide accurate, truthful information including your real name, date of birth, gender, and photographs; keep your information current; maintain password confidentiality; notify us immediately of unauthorized access at support@nplinkup.com; and use only one account.
You are solely responsible for all activity under your account. We may require phone or identity verification. Unverified accounts may have restricted access.
NPLINKUP is a respectful community built on values of integrity, family, and community. You agree not to: create a false identity or impersonate anyone; post photos that are not of yourself; use the Platform for commercial solicitation; harass, threaten, or stalk any member; share another member's personal information without consent; distribute spam or malware; solicit money from other members; or engage in any conduct harmful to NPLINKUP or its members.
Our proprietary MatchIQ™ engine analyses compatibility across six dimensions: cultural values, family goals, lifestyle, socioeconomic alignment, location compatibility, and age compatibility.
Match scores are a guide, not a guarantee of relationship success. Scores depend entirely on the accuracy of your profile data. NPLINKUP is a technology platform, not a licensed matchmaking or counselling service. Exercise your own judgment when engaging with matches.
NPLINKUP offers free and paid (Premium) tiers. Premium unlocks unlimited messaging, advanced MatchIQ™ insights, profile boosts, and priority matching.
Payments are processed by third-party processors. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
You retain ownership of content you post ("User Content"). By posting, you grant NPLINKUP a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You warrant that your User Content: is yours to share; does not infringe any third-party rights; contains genuine photographs of yourself; and does not contain nudity, hate speech, violence, or illegal content. We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms without notice.
We collect profile information, usage data, and communication data to operate and improve the Platform. We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics ? a privacy-friendly tool that does not sell your data. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting support@nplinkup.com.
Member safety is our highest priority. We employ phone verification, profile moderation, and AI-assisted content review. Never share your home address, workplace, or financial details until you are comfortable doing so in person. Meet matches in public places first.
Report inappropriate behaviour using the in-app report button, by emailing support@nplinkup.com, or calling +1 443 251 6987. We investigate all reports and may ban accounts and notify law enforcement where appropriate. NPLINKUP does not conduct criminal background checks on members.
All Platform content that is not User Content ? including the NPLINKUP name and logo, MatchIQ™ name and engine, the NPL 2026 design system, software, algorithms, and trademarks ? is the exclusive intellectual property of NPLINKUP, protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without our express written consent.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free; that any MatchIQ™ match will result in a relationship; that member profiles are accurate; or that the Platform will meet your specific expectations. You interact with other members at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NPLINKUP AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
By you: Delete your account anytime from settings or by emailing support@nplinkup.com.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or your continued membership is harmful to the community. Active subscription fees are non-refundable upon termination for cause.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of Maryland courts for dispute resolution. Before filing any claim, contact us at info@nplinkup.com ? we will attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days. Members in the EU or UK retain mandatory consumer protection rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and display a prominent banner on the Platform. Your continued use after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, stop using the Platform and delete your account.
Our team responds within 24 hours.
